SurfaceLocusKind

References
public enum SurfaceLocusKind
Enumerates the various kinds of SurfaceLocus.

These values are stored in files and must not be changed. None of them is zero, one or two, which were the only values in existence before the kinds were split apart. A locus written by an older version is therefore always recognisable as an old locus, and a locus written by a newer version is never mistaken by an older one for a kind it isn't; it merely fails to resolve.

Enum values

NameValueDescription
None-1Unset locus, can not be evaluated on any surface.
Point10An (x,y,z) coordinate on or near the surface. No indices.
IntrinsicUV20A (u,v) coordinate in the parameter space of a surface. No indices.
IntrinsicUVFace21A (u,v) coordinate in the parameter space of a single indexed face.
NormalisedUV30A (u,v) coordinate in normalised (0,1) surface space. No indices.
NormalisedUVFace31A (u,v) coordinate in the normalised (0,1) space of a single indexed face.
MeshFacet40A barycentric coordinate on a mesh face. The first index is the face, the second selects which triangle of a quad the coordinate is measured in.
SubDFace50A native (s,t) parameter inside a SubD face corner. The first index is the face id, the second the corner the parameters are measured in. Face corner parameters run from zero to one half.
SubDEdge51A parameter along a SubD edge, stored as the first coordinate. The first index is the edge id, the second the id of the face which picks a side of the edge, zero leaving that choice to the SubD.
SubDVertex52A SubD vertex. The first index is the vertex id, the second the id of the face which picks a sector of the vertex, zero leaving that choice to the SubD.
Custom100A locus for a custom surface type. May or may not successfully resolve when evaluated against native surface types.
