Brep.FilletSurfaceSettings

References
Settings to use when creating fillets or chamfers

Properties

AngleTolerance

#Since v9.0
public double AngleTolerance { get; }
Angle tolerance to decide when faces are tangent-continuous

Chamfer

#Since v9.0
public bool Chamfer { get; }
If true, a ruled chamfered surface is created.

ContinueAcrossTangentFaces

#Since v9.0
public bool ContinueAcrossTangentFaces { get; set; }
If true, the fillets or chamfers will be extended to neighboring faces as long as neighboring faces are tangent to the input faces.

Degree

#Since v9.0
public int Degree { get; }
Degree of the arc approxiation (3, 4, or 5) - only for non-rational fillets

Extend

#Since v9.0
public bool Extend { get; }
If true, then when one input surface is longer than the other, the fillet surface is extended to the input surface edges

G2Blend

#Since v9.0
public bool G2Blend { get; }
If true, a G2-continuous blend will be created

InnerSlider

#Since v9.0
public double InnerSlider { get; }
A number between -0.95 and 0.95 indicating how far to push the inner control point toward or away from the theoretical middle control point - only for non-rational fillets

NonRational

#Since v9.0
public bool NonRational { get; }
Create a non-rational approximation to the arc. This requires Degree to be set to 3, 4, or 5 and TanSlider and InnerSlider to a value between -0.95 and 0.95.

Radius

#Since v9.0
public double Radius { get; }
The radius of the fillets

SecondRadius

#Since v9.0
public double SecondRadius { get; }
The second radius of the fillets (only for chamfered surfaces)

TanSlider

#Since v9.0
public double TanSlider { get; }
A number between -0.95 and 0.95 indicating how far to push the tangent control points toward or away from the theoretical middle control point(s) - only for non-rational fillets

Tolerance

#Since v9.0
public double Tolerance { get; }
The tolerance. When in doubt, use the document's model absolute tolerance.

Trim

#Since v9.0
public bool Trim { get; }
If true, the input faces will be trimmed, if false, the input faces will be split.

Methods

CreateChamferSettings

#
public static Brep.FilletSurfaceSettings CreateChamferSettings(double radius0, double radius1, double tolerance, bool trim, bool extend)
Create settings for chamfered surfaces
radius0 (double)The distance from the intersection of face0 to the edge of the chamfer.
radius1 (double)The distance from the intersection of face1 to the edge of the chamfer.
tolerance (double)The tolerance. When in doubt, use the document's model absolute tolerance.
trim (bool)If true, the input faces will be trimmed, if false, the input faces will be split.
extend (bool)If true, then when one input surface is longer than the other, the fillet surface is extended to the input surface edges.

CreateG2BlendSettings

#Since v9.0
public static Brep.FilletSurfaceSettings CreateG2BlendSettings(double radius, double tolerance, bool trim, bool extend)
Create settings for G2-blended fillet surfaces
radius (double)The fillet radius.
tolerance (double)The tolerance. When in doubt, use the document's model absolute tolerance.
trim (bool)If true, the input faces will be trimmed, if false, the input faces will be split.
extend (bool)If true, then when one input surface is longer than the other, the fillet surface is extended to the input surface edges.

CreateNonRationalSettings

#Since v9.0

innerSlider (double)A number between -0.95 and 0.95 indicating how far to push the inner control point toward or away from the theoretical middle control point
trim (bool)If true, the input faces will be trimmed, if false, the input faces will be split.
extend (bool)If true, then when one input surface is longer than the other, the fillet surface is extended to the input surface edges.
