ControlPoint

References
Represents control point geometry with three-dimensional position and weight.

Constructors

ControlPoint

#Since v5.0
public ControlPoint(double x, double y, double z, double weight)
Constructs a new homogeneous control point, where the 4-D representation is (x, y, z, w). The world 3-D, or Euclidean, representation is (x/w, y/w, z/w).
Remarks: For expert use only. If you do not understand homogeneous coordinates, then use an override that accepts world 3-D, or Euclidean, coordinates as input.
x (double)X coordinate of the control point.
y (double)Y coordinate of the control point.
z (double)Z coordinate of the control point.
weight (double)Weight factor of the control point. You should not use weights less than or equal to zero.

ControlPoint

#Since v5.0
public ControlPoint(double x, double y, double z)
Constructs a new world 3-D, or Euclidean, control point. The 4-D representation is (x, y, z, 1.0).
x (double)X coordinate of the control point.
y (double)Y coordinate of the control point.
z (double)Z coordinate of the control point.

ControlPoint

#Since v5.0
public ControlPoint(Point3d euclideanPt, double weight)
Constructs a control point from a world 3-D, or Euclidean, location and a weight. The world 3-D, or Euclidean, representation is (x/w, y/w, z/w).
euclideanPt (Point3d)Coordinates of the control point.
weight (double)Weight factor of the control point. You should not use weights less than or equal to zero.

ControlPoint

#Since v5.0
public ControlPoint(Point3d pt)
Constructs a new world 3-D, or Euclidean, control point. The 4-D representation of this is (x, y, z, 1.0).
pt (Point3d)Coordinates of the control point.

ControlPoint

#Since v5.0
public ControlPoint(Point4d pt)
Constructs a new homogeneous control point, where the 4-D representation is (x, y, z, w). The world 3-D, or Euclidean, representation is (x/w, y/w, z/w).
Remarks: For expert use only. If you do not understand homogeneous coordinates, then use an override that accepts world 3-D, or Euclidean, coordinates as input.
pt (Point4d)Coordinates of the control point.

Properties

Location

#Since v5.0
public Point3d Location { get; set; }
Gets or sets world 3-D, or Euclidean location of the control point.

Unset

#Since v5.0
public static ControlPoint Unset { get; }
Gets the predefined, unset control point.

Weight

#Since v5.0
public double Weight { get; set; }
Gets or sets the weight of this control point.

X

#Since v6.0
public double X { get; set; }
Gets or sets the X coordinate of the control point.

#Since v6.0
public double Y { get; set; }
Gets or sets the Y coordinate of the control point.

Z

#Since v6.0
public double Z { get; set; }
Gets or sets the Z coordinate of the control point.

Methods

EpsilonEquals

#Since v5.4
[ConstOperation] public bool EpsilonEquals(ControlPoint other, double epsilon)
Check that all values in other are within epsilon of the values in this
other (ControlPoint)
epsilon (double)
EpsilonEquals

Equals

#Since v6.0
[ConstOperation] public bool Equals(ControlPoint other)
Determines if two points exactly match.
other (ControlPoint)The other point.
True if the other control point exactly matches this one.
